The family of Paola Cantini has lived and worked in Montespertoli for four generations, sharing the same respect for the land and passion for winemaking. The vineyards, located in the chain of hills between the Val di Pesa and Val d'Elsa, enjoy a unique microclimate.
The vineyards, up to 1,350 ft, are next to forests and are at some of the highest altitude in the area. The soils are calcareous, with plenty of sea fossils found in the soil. The vines are dry farmed and the grapes are harvested by hand. No chemicals are used (fertilizers, pesticides, additives).
Paola Cantini also has 8,000 olive trees and makes excellent Extra Virgin Olive Oil Toscano.
