The Domaine de la Perruche is located along the Loire in Montsoreau, a village famous for its 15th century castle which inspired the author Alexandre Dumas for his novel “La Dame de Montsoreau”.
Its vineyard extends over very well exposed slopes of the Saumur-Champigny appellation. The terroir made up of “Tu ff eau” chalk and siliceous stones bearing the pretty name of “Perruches”, symbols of the estate, makes it possible to produce red and white wines of great finesse and richness.
The entire vineyard is labeled HVE level 3 (High Environmental Value), an operating certification which attests to an obligation of results in terms of biodiversity, management of fertilization, irrigation and phytosanitary strategy.
