The Nicodemi Farm is in Notaresco, in the heart of the Teramo Hills, and extends over 38 hectares of hilly estate, of which 30 are planted in a single body. The exposure is to the south-east, the altitude attested to 300 meters, with the Gran Sasso massif watching over it, and the sea about 10 km away, ruffling it with the breeze that makes summer evenings cool. Here the vines enjoy a healthy temperature range and ventilation for the ripening of their fruits and all have their roots in a land rich in limestone and clay, which gives the wines the personality that the Nicodemi brothers want to express. This is why they have chosen to work the vineyards with an organic protocol without the use of herbicides, pesticides or chemical fertilizers. This is why they preferred permanent spontaneous grassing between the rows.

Every year we produce 200,000 bottles only from grapes from our own vineyards.
And they are only native grapes, Montepulciano and Trebbiano, declined in the denominations Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane DOCG and Trebbiano d'Abruzzo DOC. Today the imperative is to put the territory in front of everything and the hand of man as an added value. If you follow nature, wine becomes the mirror of the earth and of the soul of those who produce them. What drives them is the awareness that wine is, and must be, an expression of land, vineyard and culture.
