Hacienda la Lomita was built just past San Antonio de las Minas, between the hills of the community of San Marcos, moving stones from one side to the other. This winemaking enterprise was inaugurated during the 2009 grape harvest festivities.
La Lomita speaks of family, dreams and noble transgressions.
Lomita vineyard is romantic by nature, as it was named after a couple in love, the owner’s parents. It has a tasting room and a prestigious restaurant where you can sample signature dishes. Enjoy a bottle of organic wine (we love the Hacienda’s Tinto for its light flavor) surrounded by the vast vineyard and illuminated by a couple of candles.
This place maintains its essence away from the corporate to rescue the family tradition and love for the art of winemaking. Here they produce the highest quality wines containing varietals such as sauvignon blanc, Chenin blanc, chardonnay, grenache, tempranillo and Shiraz, among others. Excellent wine and delicious food in a picturesque setting that will make you never want to leave. Of course, tastings and guided tours explaining the production process are a must.
